Since 1969, the Gloucester Fishermen's Wives Association has been an advocate for the perpetuation of Gloucester and New England's fishing community.  Focused on a variety of initiatives including lobbying for new industry safety standards, creating special health care plans for fishermen, establishing a marine sanctuary, and -- importantly-- on protecting the future of the fisheries that feed us all, it is no surprise that these women love to cook. As is an Italian and a Gloucester tradition, food is the centerpiece of any gathering.
